Maureen has close to 30 years of experience in driving results-driven communications programs for Fortune 500 organizations, both as an in-house practitioner and multinational agency consultant. She has provided high-value communications counsel to companies like BP, Google, PayPal, Noble Group, Hewlett-Packard, CNBC, Cisco Systems, Ericsson and Herbalife.

In the course of her career, she has provided counsel for and dealt with crises or issues spanning a slew of industries. While at Thomson Consumer Electronics at the start of her career, she was involved in handling communications surrounding plant closures and layoffs. She was also involved in counselling executives when Thomson’s audio factory was implicated in a tainted water situation in Taiwan. At Pacific Internet, she handled communications issues ranging from breakdown in Internet services due to over-subscriptions to tainted food at the company-run cybercafes.

At The Hoffman Agency, Maureen has provided crisis and issues management counsel for MNCs like BP, CNBC, Xilinx, Dimension Data, PayPal, GlobalNxt University and Hitachi data Systems.
