Tod Gimbel brings over 30 years of senior-level corporate experience in the public affairs and
sustainability space. A lawyer by training, Tod has held positions with well-known companies
including Herbalife Nutrition, Citigroup, Levi Strauss; Co., Kraft Foods, Miller Brewing Company
and Philip Morris.

He was most recently the Senior Vice President of Global Government Affairs at Herbalife
overseeing their outreach, messaging, advocacy and engagement with all types of stakeholders
in over 90 countries. He directed strategies and campaigns in many countries including the US,
India, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Mexico.

Beginning in 2020 he led the effort to develop, design and launch the company’s ESG
program. In less than 3 years the company went from having no integrated ESG plan at all to
becoming a highly rated ESG performer in their peer group.

Tod’s approach and contribution to crisis management and communications is to build strong
relationships with key stakeholders well before a crisis is faced. Developing the the image and
reputation an organization would like to have id crucial. After that proactive engagement with
stakeholders to build that reputation through strong relationships is the best way to be an a
good position to successfully resolve and move on from a crisis when one occurs.

Working in the US, Asia and around the world Tod has forged strong relationships with
government authorities, key opinion leaders, influencers, NGOs and academics. All important
stakeholders before, during and after a crisis.

Tod was born and educated in the US and has spent significant time living and working in
Washington DC, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, and Singapore. He now spends his time in
both Los Angeles an Singapore.
